Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohsen Al-Mandalawi confirmed today, Wednesday, that the religious authority had a prominent role in establishing the values of love and coexistence among peoples and saving the world from extremism and terrorism, while he indicated that insulting the image of the religious authority reflects the extent of the evil of the satanic entity.

Al-Mandalawi stressed according to the statement that "the House of Representatives rejects any attack on the supreme religious authority in Iraq and the world, which has played a major and fundamental role throughout its history in establishing the values of love and peaceful coexistence among peoples, and saving the countries of the world from the clutches of extremism, terrorism and savagery," adding, "This racist entity, whose crimes are ignored by most countries of the world, is pushing the region to the brink of a religious conflict that serves its agendas and extremist goals, and the world must deter it and stop its evils against the peoples of the region."
