Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani arrived in New York.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani arrived in New York to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly."
In a previous statement, the Prime Minister's media office noted that the Prime Minister will deliver Iraq's address to the General Assembly and will also give a speech at the Summit of the Future, which will be attended by many heads of state and leaders. This summit focuses on enhancing cooperation, addressing challenges, and reaffirming commitments.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will hold a series of meetings and discussions with a number of leaders and presidents of friendly and brotherly states, as well as the heads of participating delegations. He is also scheduled to meet with the Secretary-General of the United Nations and several officials from international and UN organizations.
