The match of the Iraqi national team against its Kuwaiti counterpart kicked off.
The match was kicked off on the grounds of Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait for the second round of Group Two matches in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The starting lineup of the Iraqi national team included: Jalal Hassan, Ibrahim Bayesh, Amir Al-Ammari, Zidane Iqbal, Youssef Al-Amin, Mustafa Saadoun, Rebin Sulaka, Zaid Tahseen, Ahmed Yahya, Mirkhas Doski, Ali Al-Hamadi.
