Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani visited on Monday the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command to follow up on the plan to secure the pilgrimage in Najaf.
The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani visited today the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command."
"This came as a follow-up to the plan to secure a pilgrimage commemorating the martyrdom of the Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah (peace be upon him) in Najaf," it said.
