The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, announced today, Friday, that the Democratic Republic of the Congo will receive vaccines within the next few days, to confront a new strain of the virus.
"We hope to get the first shipment in the next few days, and then it will increase," Ghebreyesus added at a press conference.
It is worth noting that "about 230,000 doses of monkeypox vaccine are ready to be sent immediately."
