The Security Media Cell denied, on Friday, imposing a curfew in Baghdad.
The cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "some social media sites circulated news about imposing a curfew that includes vehicles and people in the capital, Baghdad," stressing that "this information is incorrect and does not carry any credibility."
The Security Media Cell stressed that "the security services and intelligence departments will pursue the promoters of these malicious rumors, and will work to take legal measures against them and bring them to justice to receive their punishment."
