The Islamic Republic of Iran announced, on Wednesday, the end of the investigation into the crash of the helicopter of former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, while revealing the cause of its fall.
A statement by the Iranian government stated that "the number of passengers in Raisi's helicopter exceeded the normal number, so it was unable to take off to the required altitude and crashed into a mountain in foggy conditions."
The statement added that "Iranian intelligence services interrogated 30,000 people in Raisi's case, and everything indicates that there was no human factor in the helicopter crash."
"In the investigations conducted, no signs of chemical agents and harmful materials were found."
The statement pointed out that "in a previous report, no trace of bullets or the like was observed on the wreckage of the helicopter, and the president's helicopter burned after crashing into the mountain."
