Details of PM Al-Sudani's visit to Dhi Qar

INA - BAGHDAD
 
PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani returned, on Tuesday, to the capital Baghdad after concluding his visit to Dhi Qar Governorate.
 
The visit included details that were stated in a statement by the PM media office - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA as the following:
 
 Opening Nasiriyah International Stadium. A capacity of 20,000 spectators.
 
 Opening Al-Batha Hospital in Dhi Qar Province. A capacity of 50 beds.
 
Visiting the South Nasiriyah Power Station.
 
 Launching several energy projects in the fields of production, transmission, and distribution, including:
 
 Increasing electricity production in the combined cycle by adding 250 megawatts to the gas-fired power station.
 Establishing simple cycle gas-fired units, and one combined cycle unit, adding 921 megawatts of power.
 The Maysalun Solar Power Plant Project. A capacity of 500 megawatts.
Ur Solar Power Plant Project. A capacity of 300 megawatts.
The South Nasiriyah Substation Project with a capacity of 400 kV, as part of power transmission projects.
Establishing two strategic transmission lines (Rumaila-South Nasiriyah) and (South Nasiriyah). A capacity of 400 kV.
Expanding the external grid of the Dhi Qar Combined Cycle Station. A capacity of 400 kV.
Completing the substations in Eridu, Al-Askan, and Rifa'i. A capacity of 132 kV, and bringing them into operation.
Transmission line projects. A capacity of 132 kV, including (Eridu - Al-Askan), (Al-Askan-Sharq-Nasiriyah), (Dhi Qar Combined cycle-Batha), (Al-Masaab Al-Aam-South Nasiriyah), and (South Nasiriyah Al-Bussayyah).
 
Inaugurating the first phase of the Ur City Tourist Project, which includes the cultural center, the open-air Sumerian theater, the Ur enclosed theater, an interfaith dialogue center, and the administrative wing with meeting rooms.
 
 Launching the following projects:
The Inanna Five-Star Hotel Project. A capacity of 400 rooms, in the Ur City Tourist Project.
Ur Global Museum Project and the Drama Production City Project.
The Khatam Al-Anbiya Mosque Project, and the traditional market construction project within Ur City Tourist Project.
 
Monitoring the progress of the Nasiriyah International Airport Project and reviewing the completed stages of its facilities.
