Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani inaugurated the Nasiriyah International Stadium in Dhi Qar Governorate today, following his arrival this morning to launch and oversee the implementation of several projects.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA):”During his visit, the Prime Minister toured the stadium's facilities and expressed his appreciation for all the efforts that contributed to the completion of this significant project, which will serve the athletes and youth of Dhi Qar.”
The statement added, “The stadium, one of the most important projects of the Dhi Qar Construction Fund, has a capacity of 20,000 spectators it is designed with high technical specifications, featuring walls adorned with inscriptions and symbols reflecting the heritage of the Sumerian civilization the stadium is also equipped with electronic gates at its entrances notably, this is the first stadium to be completed without any interruptions or delays, and in less than the scheduled time for completion.”
