PM Al-Sudani Meets the Newly Elected Diyala Governor

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met on Tuesday, the newly elected Governor of Diyala, Adnan Al-Shammari, elected by the Provincial Council.
 
“The Prime Minister emphasized the crucial role of local governments in implementing the governmental program at the provincial level. He emphasized that local governments act as crucial executive arms in collaboration with ministries and their respective institutions, and they play a vital role in enhancing oversight and legislative functions through the work of the Provincial Council,” stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency-INA.
  
Prime Minister Al-Sudani highlighted the importance of working with all national forces within the province to advance the service, social, and economic reality.
 He stressed the need for provincial authorities to deliver satisfactory performance that meets citizens' aspirations and aligns with the government's goals and priorities. He also emphasized addressing essential projects and infrastructure development based on urgency and necessity.
