Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari on Tuesday, reiterated the continuation of efforts to combat human trafficking.
"On the World Day Against Human Trafficking, we reaffirm the continuation of efforts to combat the crime of human trafficking and work to support its victims as well as provide them with all support and protection," said Al-Shimmari in a tweet on X - followed by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "After Iraq won the first-place award for combating human trafficking for the year 2023-2024, the responsibility has become greater. The Ministry of Interior has prepared plans to preserve this achievement."
