PM Abdul Mahdi said that the visit of Jordanian Prime Minister Omar al-Razaz will contribute to increasing security and economic cooperation between Iraq and Jordan.
Terrorism is a common enemy of Iraq and Jordan and we are working to strengthen joint security cooperation, Abdul Mahdi told a joint news conference with his Jordanian counterpart.
He added that the two sides agreed to establish a joint industrial zone on 24 square kilometers to develop the industrial sector in both countries, pointing out that the issue of customs exemptions for the export of goods between the two countries.
