The interior ministers of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahd Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, and Iran, Ahmad Vahidi, arrived in Baghdad on Monday.
The Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained a statement from the Ministry of Interior stating that "Kuwaiti interior minister Sheikh Fahd Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah and Iranian Interior Minister Ahmed Vahidi arrived today in Baghdad."
The statement proceeded to state that " Iranian and Kuwaiti interior ministers were received by Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari," emphasizing that the visit was made with the intention of attending the second Baghdad Regional International Conference on Drug Control.
