The Ministry of Education announced today, Sunday, the signing of a comprehensive agreement with the British Council.
The Ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, strengthened modern English language teaching programs in Iraq by signing a comprehensive and guaranteeing agreement to build the capabilities of educational and teaching staff through intensive training in cooperation with the British Council, in In the presence of the Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs, Raed Al-Sahi, and the Council’s Country Director, Ben Luton.”
The Minister of Education confirmed, according to the statement, that “the success of the first steps of the training programs that the Ministry passed in 2022 and was the beginning of the launch towards successive projects established for English language teachers and tutors, considered this agreement a modern extension of the development of meaningful teaching skills and methods, and the expansion of the circle of the Education for Success program.”
