The representative of the President of the Republic, Jamal Al-Muhammadawi, confirmed today, Saturday, that the digital transformation initiative represents an ambitious strategic vision to enhance comprehensive development.
Al-Muhammadawi said - during the Digital Transformation Youth Forum conference, in coordination with the Higher Committee for Simplifying Government Procedures and Services and the Higher Committee for Digital Transformation in the Prime Minister's Office, and attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Digital Transformation Youth Forum DTI Youth, organized by the Separ Organization for Digital Economy Development, and sponsored by the largest technology and communications companies in Iraq, represents an important turning point towards strengthening the digital infrastructure in Iraq, and aims to bridge the gap between global expertise and modern technologies so that our youth can benefit from them and develop their skills to keep pace with the labour market.".
Al-Muhammadawi added that "modern society is rapidly moving towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as digital technologies are entering all aspects of our lives," indicating that "digital transformation in Iraq includes adopting technologies and integrating them into business models, which contributes to reshaping markets and providing innovative solutions to existing challenges.".
He pointed out that "digital transformations have become an imperative necessity for economic development and growth," stressing that "the digital transformation initiative in Iraq represents an ambitious strategic vision to enhance comprehensive development, starting with improving digital infrastructure, strengthening e-government, and raising digital work capabilities and encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in the technology sector.".
Al-Muhammadawi explained that "young people are interested in multiple fields, including software, networks, artificial intelligence, electronic payment, cybersecurity, communications, electronic media, big data, data science, the Internet of Things, fifth generation, smart cities, robotics, games, and e-commerce.".
He continued, "This diversity reflects the importance of digital transformation in all aspects of our lives, and opens up broad horizons for growth and innovation," explaining that "the participation of an elite group of organizers and speakers in this forum aims to transfer global experiences in digital transformation and digital entrepreneurship to our Iraqi society, which contributes to building a better future for our youth.".
