The head of the Military Industrialization Authority, Mustafa Aati, confirmed today, Saturday, that Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani opened 4 factories and 8 others will enter service before the end of this year 2024.
During the Prime Minister's inauguration ceremony of a number of military production factories and rehabilitation laboratories, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Aati said, "There are 12 factories in the authority, 4 of which were inaugurated today by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, and 8 others will enter service before the end of this year 2024.".
He stressed that "these projects and factories will constitute a launch towards establishing a national military industry," noting that "the Prime Minister's efforts and planning have a major role in completing projects and supporting the military industry.".
