Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Kazakhstan for an official visit and to attend the 24th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The Xinhua News Agency reported that this is Xi's fifth visit to Kazakhstan and the second in less than two years, following his visit to the country in September 2022. This visit is expected to focus on the multifaceted aspects of bilateral relations and cooperation.
Xi stated in a press release that the partnership between China and Kazakhstan is "unique," and that the enduring friendship between the two countries has grown stronger over time, providing a model for solidarity, mutual benefit, and mutual success among neighboring countries.
