Al- Karkh Health Department announced, on Wednesday, the opening of a number of projects soon, while pointing out that the numbers of medical staff will be completed in the coming days.
Wael al-Kubaisi, director general of Al- Karkh health department, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "A number of projects will be opened soon in al- Karkh health department, including al-hurea hospital project, in addition to the Emergency Hospital of al-Yarmouk with a capacity of 109 beds, within two weeks, as well as 7 surgery rooms, and the start of the second phase in al- Yarmouk hospital building(AGD), which has 11 surgery rooms and a large pulmonary resuscitation of more than 40 beds".
Al-Kubaisi added "Al-Karkh health department is working on the rehabilitation of the central children's hospital, which will be completed soon, as well as direct access to Abu Ghraib hospital within the government effort program, also a 50-bed Seba Al-Pur hospital, and we are proceeding with the martyr Mohammed Baqer al-Hakim hospital project, in addition to the opening of al-hurea hospital and many other projects”.
Regarding the medical staff, al-Kubaisi stressed that"the number of nurses will be completed in the coming days to be sufficient and the number of doctors is also sufficient, but there is a shortage in the number of administrators and we are continuing to increase them".
