The visual artist Nidaa Kazem called for the creation of a committee to grant licenses to sculptors and evaluate the monuments before they are placed in Baghdad and the provinces in order to suit Iraq and its culture.
Kazem said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency "I am currently working on the repair of my artwork destroyed, especially the statue of Abi Tamam by the ISIS , and continued with him with the local government and some of the county deputies, but did not come to practical steps and allocation in this regard, At the level of Baghdad, referring to the completion of the repair of Badr Shaker al-Sayab in Basra.
I feel great pain about the problem of the poor statues that were created especially in Baghdad, and are not suitable for Iraq and the cultural value of our cities.
