The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, affirmed today, Tuesday, that the security plan for Eid al-Ghadir is being implemented smoothly.
During a press conference in Najaf province attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), al-Shammari stated, "We are present here in Najaf Al-Ashraf province to oversee the security plan for Eid al-Ghadir," noting that "the plan includes reinforcing the Najaf Police Command with units from the Federal Police, Rapid Intervention Forces, Emergency Response Units, Traffic Police, and K9 units."
He further added, "The plan was supervised by the head of the special security committee for the Ghadir visit, the Border Guards Commander," emphasizing that "the security plan is being implemented smoothly without any notable security incidents."
