BOC clarifies the arrest news of a gang that robbed a Christian family House

Baghdad Operations Command- B.O.C explained, on Sunday, about the arrest  news of a gang of 9 people who carried out an armed robbery on the House of a Christian family in one of the districts of the capital Baghdad.

B.O.C said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "social media platforms and media agencies circulated the news that a gang of 9 people was arrested who carried out an armed robbery on the House of a Christian family in one of the districts of the capital".

The statement added that "a group of people who were riding vehicles type ( Tahoe, pickup/Hilux ) assaulted with hands, swearing at a woman and her children in the New Baghdad area/ Nuairiya within locality 715".

The statement  pointed out that "after receiving information that there was a brawl, a joint security force from the Rusafa emergency Regiment/II went to the place, arrested the accused, seized their vehicles and deposited them in the arrest at the New Baghdad police station to complete legal procedures against them”.

Baghdad Operations Command- B.O.C called on " satellite channels and media agencies to be careful in transmitting information and knowing news from their official sources on (the Baghdad Operations Command's website on the Facebook platform)".
