Head of IMN discusses joint cooperation with an Iranian delegation

    The head of the Iraqi Media Network, Karim Hammadi, discussed today, Saturday, with the Assistant Minister of Culture and Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Farshad Mehdipour, and his accompanying delegation, which includes a different group of media institutions, to expand the horizon of joint cooperation.

    While receiving the Iranian delegation at the network's headquarters, the head of the Iraqi Media Network expressed his readiness to cooperate with the Iranian side in the media fields in a way that serves the interests of the two neighboring countries.
    He added, "The Iraqi Media Network is open to various aspects of cooperation to serve the two neighboring countries that have historical ties," noting that "There is a priority for the Media Network to shed light on the effects left by the former regime and the woes it brought upon the Iraqi people and the region."

    Hammadi stressed that “plans have been made regarding the media coverage of the various network institutions regarding the fortieth visit, which will be different from previous years,” stressing that “the Palestinian issue is on the list of interest to the network institutions and that we are open with the Iranian side to develop the horizon of cooperation and coordination to enhance support for the Palestinian cause and shed light on the war of annihilation waged by the Zionist entity against Gaza.”.

    For his part, the head of the Iranian delegation expressed his happiness for visiting Iraq and his presence at the headquarters of the Iraqi Media Network, stressing the Islamic Republic’s keenness to develop these relations in all fields, praising the media, scientific and professional level that the Iraqi Media Network has reached.
    He added, "There is seriousness in expanding the frameworks of cooperation with the Iraqi Media Network and exchanging experiences between the two sides."
