congratulating Labor Day, President Rashid says: We stress the need to ensure their rights and adopt legislation

President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid congratulated ,on Wednesday ,the workers of Iraq on their holiday, while stressing the need to work to ensure their rights and approve legislation.

Rashid said in a post on the platform (X) followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "greetings of appreciation and respect to all the workers of Iraq on the occasion of the International Labor Day , evoking their struggle in building the homeland despite the various circumstances that have passed in the country".

He added "on this occasion, we emphasize the need to work to ensure the rights of workers and the adoption of the necessary legislation as they are a key pillar in achieving development, the road of construction and reconstruction, the development and diversification of productive sectors, and support investment and the private sector”.
