The Central Criminal Court issued on Tuesday, a death sentence against a terrorist criminal for the crime of belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs and participating in terrorist operations against the security forces in the city of Mosul.
The Judicial Council stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “the terrorist confessed to belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs, chanted the pledge of allegiance, and worked in the services office, then the police, then the military detachments, and after the liberation of the city by the security forces, he fled with his family to the state of Turkey.”
The statement added, "The ruling was issued based on the provisions of Article Four/1 and within the meaning of Articles Two/1 and 3 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005."
