Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani discussed with President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan the bilateral relations between the two countries, recent developments in the region and on the international stage, particularly the ongoing aggression in Gaza.
The Media Office Of The Prime Minster stated in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency-INA that ," Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani received a phone call on Friday evening from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During the phone call, both leaders exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings and prayed that this blessed occasion would return to the peoples of both nations and all Islamic communities with peace and stability."
"The phone conversation also covered the bilateral relations between the two countries, recent developments in the region and on the international stage, particularly the ongoing aggression in Gaza. They discussed the efforts being made to stop this aggression, provide relief to the Palestinian people, and prevent the spread of the conflict,” the statement added.
