Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani Exchanges Eid al-Fitr Greetings with the Syrian President.

In a phone call Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani and the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar al-Assad, exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings, wishing that this blessed occasion brings well-being and prosperity for both brotherly countries, as well as for the Arabs and Islamic world, and hoping for the continued security and stability of their peoples, according to a statement by the PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News agency – INA .
 
"The phone call covered the bilateral relations between the two countries and the major challenges facing the region and the world. In their conversation the two leaders also addressed the ongoing brutal aggression against our Palestinian people in Gaza and the occupation authorities' disregard for all voices calling for an end to the massacres against innocents" the statement added.
