Iraq and Turkey discuss coordination on common interest issues

    INA - BAGHDAD

    President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received a phone call on Tuesday, from the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, where they discussed coordination on issues of common interest. 

    During the phone call, "the two presidents exchanged congratulations and greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, praying to Allah to repeat this occasion for both countries and peoples with further progress, development, and prosperity," According to a statement issued by the Presidency, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA. 

    The President of the Republic and the Turkish President also discussed bilateral relations and the importance of coordination and consultation regarding issues of common interest, aiming to enhance peace and stability in the region.
