The Health Minister, Salih Al-Hasnawi, issued directives on Monday to ensure preparedness to receive wounded Palestinians from the Gaza Strip in compliance with decisions made by the Cabinet.
"In line with the resolutions of the Cabinet, Al-Hasnawi instructed the readiness to receive the courageous Palestinian wounded from Gaza, regardless of the number, as to provide them with comprehensive healthcare services, including medical treatment, rehabilitation, and all necessary provisions," according to the spokesperson of the ministry, Saif Al-Badr, speaking to the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
Furthermore, he emphasized that "the Ministry of Health affirms the preparedness of both governmental and private institutions to handle any number of cases, ensuring the provision of adequate healthcare services until their complete recovery."
Earlier, the Cabinet decided to receive the wounded from Gaza to deliver necessary medical treatment, utilizing both governmental and private healthcare facilities.
