The region's delegation in Baghdad: Positive results and a national consensus to radically solve the salary problem

    The crisis in the salaries of employees in the Kurdistan region of Iraq was resolved after the decision of the Federal Supreme Court, which clarified the legal and constitutional path to solve the problem radically by localizing the salaries of employees and guaranteeing their rights like their peers in all governorates of Iraq.
     
    The President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, arrived yesterday, Saturday, in the capital, Baghdad, at the head of a regional government delegation, to discuss and discuss several files, most notably the file of salaries of Kurdistan employees.

    The State Administration Coalition held a meeting in the government palace yesterday in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mohammad Shia al-Sudani, and the Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister, Nechirvan Barzani, while discussing common files with the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and ways to address them in accordance with what was stipulated in the Constitution, and making every effort to move forward in a constructive partnership that contributes to In consolidating stability and supporting the interests of the Iraqi people of all sects and components, while emphasizing adherence to the terms of the political agreement on the basis of which the government was formed.
    In turn, the President of the Kurdistan Region stressed that "reaching a solution to the issue of salaries of the region's employees and the ongoing understandings contribute to consolidating relations between the federal government and the regional government, and advance the efforts made to resolve other outstanding issues."
     
    Barzani appreciated "The role and efforts of the President of the Republic in reaching an agreement on the issue of salaries, and his constant endeavor to bring viewpoints closer between the political forces," stressing "the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination among all political forces to protect security and stability in the country, and to support construction and reconstruction efforts and implement the ministerial program of the federal government in a way that achieves social justice.”
