Prime Minister Al-Sudani Orders Education Minister to Visit Basra and Assess Hartha Incident

 “Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani has directed the Minister of Education to go to Basra Governorate and personally investigate the tragic incident that occurred in the Hartha district, which resulted in the death of several students” the Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

“The Minister of Education will convey the Prime Minister's condolences to the families of the victims and his wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured, as well as oversee the provision of necessary medical services . Additionally, the Minister of Education will follow up on the investigation into the details and causes of the incident and the prompt actions required to ensure such tragedies are not repeated, providing support for the victims' families and stand by them during these difficult times, which call for solidarity and compassion” the statement added .
