UNICEF expresses deep sadness over the tragic incident in Basra

UNICEF Iraq expressed on Tuesday, its deep sadness over the tragic incident in Basra.

"We express our deep sadness over the tragic incident that occurred in the Al-Hartha area in Basra," said the organization in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
 
The statement added, "Our deepest condolences to all those affected by this tragic loss, and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured children."

Earlier today, a truck ran over a group of students crossing the street in Basra causing 6 killed and 9 wounded so far.
