    Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani affirmed today, Sunday, that Imam Ali, peace be upon him, is an example that we seek and quote from his brilliance in running the state, while he pointed to continuing with the project of building a just and rational state, in which everyone enjoys attention and prosperity.
     
     
    The Prime Minister said in his speech on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, and the Iraqi News Agency (INA) followed it, “We condole ourselves, our honorable people, and all Muslims, from the east and west of the earth, on this painful anniversary,” noting that “the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib is an example in our history and awareness, a companion to the truth, and a guide to the correct path, especially when the situation is turbulent and the forces of evil and corruption expand and are able to achieve their gains.
    He added, "When we restore the fragrant biography of the Imam, we commit ourselves to an example that we seek, in managing the state and taking into consideration the affairs of the people," pointing out that "the principles of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, and the values for which he sacrificed his life, are the same ones that guide countries in every time and place, and draws the closest path to good governance."
    Al-Sudani stressed, "We started from these principles in our government program, and its main goals are to fight corruption, eliminate poverty and unemployment, provide services, reform the economy, and optimal investment of public money," noting that "signs of the fruits of this program have become apparent, and we have already begun to exceed greater obstacles and difficulteis."
      "The wheel of the economy began to turn, and the efforts of workers to build infrastructure did not stop," explaining that "the rates of agricultural output increased, and the stopped factories, refineries, and power stations returned to full of work." Prime Minister said.
    He pointed out that "these steps would not have taken place, had our people and our legislative, executive and judicial authorities not kept in mind the interest of Iraq first," recalling "the exploits of the Commander of the Faithful, the guidance of his rule, and the extension of his justice even to his opponents."
    Al-Sudani stressed, "continuing with the project of building a just and rational state, in which everyone enjoys attention and prosperity," pointing out, "striving for everyone to be responsible in caring for people's interests and taking care of their affairs, away from partisan or sectarian interests."
