President Rashid calls for national cohesion and people's unity on love and equality values

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid ,stressed on Sunday, that the Iraqi people have gone through difficult conditions of totalitarian regimes, terrorism and crimes, calling for national cohesion and the unity of the people on the values of love and equality.

A statement issued by the Media Department of the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that:" The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, attended today the Divine Liturgy held by the Cathedral of St. Joseph on Easter occasion".

" The President of the Republic at his speech on this occasion expressing his congratulations to Christians on Easter, wishing them and their families peace, goodness and love" the statement added .

President Rashid stressed that " Iraqi people have gone through difficult conditions of totalitarian regimes, terrorism and crimes" ,calling for" national cohesion and the unity of the people on the values of love, justice and equality".
