A light magnitude 1.9 earthquake occurred in the Eastern Mediterranean near the coast of Turkey in the evening of Thursday, Mar 28, 2024 at 8.52 pm local time (Europe/Istanbul GMT +3). The quake had a very shallow depth of 7.1 km (4.4 mi) and was not felt (or at least not reported so).
