The improvement of combat personnel's skills was a topic of discussion between Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari and Vice President of the Arab Kikushin Federation and President of the Iraqi Federation, Captain Ammar Adnan, on Wednesday.

"Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari met with the President of the Iraqi Federation, Vice President of the Arab Federation for the game of Kikushin, Captain Ammar Adnan," reads a statement from the Ministry of Interior that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained.

"The minister discussed with his guest the organization of training courses that include the directorates of police and traffic, during which the focus is on the freshly employed police to be optimally ready to perform the duties and tasks entrusted to them," the statement continued. "The minister discussed the development of the skills of the ministry's employees, especially combat."

A well-thought-out plan that benefits all participants in these training courses is the reason why the Minister of the Interior emphasized "the preparation of the appropriate curriculum in coordination with the competent authorities in the Ministry of Interior for those covered by these courses."
