It is imperative that we attain stability before we can witness reconstruction and services, as confirmed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani on Sunday.

The Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported on Al-Sudani's remarks made during a meeting with prominent citizens and residents of Madina district in Basra. He noted that "fighting corruption is not only the task of the official, but rather requires community awareness," adding that "north of Basra is witnessing the presence of projects, some of which are implemented."

"Clan disputes must end, and the state must support itself by carrying out its tasks," he continued, pointing out that "Iraq is on the correct course today."

"The people deserve to live in a secure and stable environment," he said in closing.
