Minister of Water Resources, Aoun Dhiab Abdullah, headed on Saturday, the Iraqi delegation participating in the ministerial meeting with the Syrian side, to discuss four important files.
“Minister of Water Resources, Aoun Dhiyab Abdullah, headed the Iraqi delegation participating in the ministerial meeting with the Syrian side, to discuss common water issues, especially the water situation of the Euphrates River, and ways of cooperation between the two countries in managing water resources Facing the challenges of climate change and the effects of water scarcity,” A statement by the Ministry of Water Resources, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated.
"This morning, the joint Iraqi-Syrian technical meeting was resumed at the ministerial level to discuss the water file between the two countries,” The statement added.
