PM congratulates Iraq on winning the position of Director General of the Arab World Institute in Paris

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani congratulated, today, Friday, Iraq’s victory in the position of Director General of the Arab World Institute in Paris.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani blessed Iraq’s victory in the position of Director General of the Arab World Institute in the French capital, Paris, and Shawqi Abdel Amir assumed this position after he gained the confidence of the Council of Ambassadors.” The Arab countries that founded the institute unanimously.”.

Al-Sudani stressed, according to the statement, that “Iraq’s victory in this position represents an entitlement that embodies the government’s efforts to open up to the Arab and international environment, and its endeavor to restore Iraq’s position in the fields of culture and science.”
