The Counter-Terrorism Service declared today, Thursday that seven ISIS gang dens had been destroyed in various locations and that three terrorists had been detained.
In a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the service declared: "Three terrorists were detained by our heroes in various locations, and seven ISIS terrorist gang dens were destroyed."
the statement said, "The arrests occurred after our units started arresting an ISIS administrator in Kirkuk province and were able to apprehend a soldier in ISIS gangs in Anbar province in a separate operation."
It reported that "we were able to destroy and sabotage 7 dens and tunnels in Nineveh province." "Our heroes were able to arrest the commander of a (former) military detachment in what was called Fallujah province in the capital Baghdad."
"The service will persist in locating the residual elements of ISIS terrorist groups based on precise intelligence and well-organized strategies until their eradication and the purging our lands of their vanquished remnants," the statement stated.
