Security officials and experts praised today, Saturday, the great achievement achieved by the National Intelligence Service in arresting two of the most dangerous terrorist leaders called Issam Abd Ali Saedan, alias (Abu Zaid) and Bashir Abd Ali Saedan, alias (Abu Ahmed Etisalat), noting that The heroic security operations of the Intelligence Service and the rest of the security services escalated thanks to the support and continuous follow-up of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
The head of the Security Media Cell, Major General Tahseen Al-Khafaji, confirmed today, Saturday, that the National Intelligence Service’s achievement of arresting two dangerous terrorists comes as part of an ongoing work to infiltrate and strike terrorist leaders fleeing abroad, arrest them, and take them into Iraq.
Al-Khafaji said in his speech to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The National Intelligence Service has achieved a series of important victories since the beginning of this year, as it was able to arrest a large number of organized crime and drug gangs, as well as hunt down the leaders of ISIS terrorist gangs abroad and take them into Iraq.”.
He added, "The recent heroic act in which two dangerous terrorists were arrested was carried out in implementation of the orders of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to arrest everyone involved in the shedding of Iraqi blood. This achievement came within the framework of continuous work to infiltrate terrorist leaders and arrest them, and it coincided with the The tenth anniversary day to liberate the city of Fallujah from terrorism."

The agency said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “With the personal follow-up of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, and exceptional efforts and intelligence tracking that continued for years, the heroes of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service were able to arrest two of the most dangerous ISIS terrorist leaders involved in the most horrific terrorist crimes in Iraq in a specific operation outside the Iraqi borders.
The statement added, “They were taken to Iraq and they are:
Issam Abd Ali Saedan, alias (Abu Zaid), a journalist for the so-called Fallujah Province, who was involved in the slaughter of the martyr soldier Kazem Al-Rikabi, who is responsible for managing all media activities of terrorist gangs in Fallujah after the year 2014, and who is involved in documenting a lot among the terrorist crimes, the most prominent of which was the killing of the two martyred soldiers, Mustafa Al-Adhari and Samir Murad Al-Dalawi.
Bashir Abd Ali Saedan, alias (Abu Ahmed Etisalat), a soldier of the so-called Fallujah Province, who was responsible for all ISIS terrorist operations in Fallujah after the year 2014, He was responsible for securing and encrypting the communications of terrorist gang leaders.”
Security expert Fadel Abu Ragheef said in his interview with the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The National Intelligence Service continues to pursue ISIS terrorist gangs and strike their leaders, and the latest heroic operation falls within this work, which resulted in the arrest of the terrorist called Issam Abd Ali Saedan, alias (Abu Zaid). He was a prominent journalist on the Amaq website and a writer in Dabiq newspaper, and he documented killings, slaughters, and bombings.
He added, "The second terrorist is called Bashir Abdul Ali Saedan, alias (Abu Ahmed Etisalat), and he was leading all terrorist operations in Fallujah and its environs. The infiltration of terrorist leaders by the National Intelligence Service confirms the high capabilities and qualitative levels."
In turn, security expert Haitham Al-Khazali confirmed in his speech to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "catching terrorists fleeing abroad and taking them inside falls within the heroic and qualitative operations by all standards and constitutes a qualitative improvement in the performance of the intelligence service."
He added, "The continuous personal follow-up by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to the Iraqi security services had a great impact in improving the performance of the services and improving their operations, which led to a clear improvement in security in Iraq, which was felt by the citizens."
In turn, security expert Sarmad Al-Bayati said in his speech to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “What the Counter-Terrorism Service achieved is a heroic act as a result of follow-up and cooperation with security services outside Iraq. This work is not ordinary and confirms the high capabilities of the agency and its ability to carry out qualitative external operations.”
He added, "The intelligence service works silently and its qualitative operations are what speaks for it and proves its heroism against the terrorist ISIS gangs to preserve the security of Iraq and avenge the families of the victims who suffered because of terrorism."
