United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres confirmed today, Friday, that any attack on Rafah will crush 1.5 million Palestinians in the region.
Guterres said in a press statement: “The scale of death in Gaza is very horrifying,” stressing that “the humanitarian assistance mechanism in Gaza is no longer working and volunteers are working under bombardment.”.
Guterres added, "Rafah is about to collapse on the humanitarian front," pointing out that "a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza is the only way to deliver aid.".
