Restructuring state-owned companies plays a pivotal role in economic reform: PM Al-Sudani

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani convened the second meeting dedicated to overseeing the restructuring and organization of state-owned companies.
 
“At the meeting's outset, Al-Sudani emphasized the significance of this initiative, highlighting its pivotal role in economic reform by aligning companies with sound economic principles”, stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA. “He underscored that this step is central to the government's strategic objective of augmenting non-oil revenues in the national income”.
 
The meeting yielded decisions outlining general principles for advancing financial and economic reform, along with the restructuring of companies. These measures aim to fortify the national economy and enhance its stability.
