Zidan receives Christian Ritscher

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council(SJC), Faiq Zidan, called on The UN Special Investigative Team (UNITAD) to submit the results of its work to the Iraqi judiciary.

A statement from SJC  received by the Iraqi News Agency ( INA ) said that " The President of the Supreme Judicial Council(SJC), Faiq Zidan received today the head of the The UN Special Investigative Team (UNITAD) Christian Ritscher and discussed the Team 's work results during 2023".

According to a statement Zidane stressed "The results and the evidence of the (UNITAD) Team that resolved during the period of it’s work must be presented to the Iraqi judiciary and its investigators exclusively , as the competent investigator and  crimes prosecution to which the findings and evidence of UN investigation team relate".
