Al-Mandalawi directs the resumption of Parliament sessions starting next Saturday

Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, today, Wednesday, directed the resumption of Parliament sessions starting next Saturday.
 
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, chaired, in the presence of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, an expanded meeting with the heads of the parliamentary committees and their deputies, to discuss the legislative and oversight agenda and review the laws and scheduling it during the coming period.”
 
Al-Mandalawi said "The meeting discussed a number of files, including the necessary coordination with the government on accelerating the resolution of some law proposals and sending the budget law schedules for the years 2024 and 2025, the repeated American attacks on Iraqi lands, and the steps that the Council will follow in this regard."
