Rashid and Al-Hakim discuss the political scene

the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, discussed today, Sunday, the political scene in Iraq and the region.
 
 
Al-Hakim stated in a tweet followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “This evening, we received the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and we exchanged views on developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region, as well as supporting the government in implementing its governmental and service program.”
He added, "The necessity of preserving the stability achieved at the political, social, and security levels was emphasized, as well as investing in the current phase to move towards a complete treatment of some outstanding issues."
 Al-Hakim continued, “We stressed the necessity of stopping the war in Gaza, and we said that stopping the war is necessary to preserve the stability of the region and blocking the way for further mutual escalation. We also warned the international community against a policy of silence towards Gaza crisis, as the consequences of what is happening will harm everyone’s interests.”
