The media official of the Arab Theater Authority, Ghannam Ghannam, confirmed today, Friday, that one of the most important results of the Arab Theater Festival is Iraq’s strong return to the Arab theatrical scene.

Ghannam told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The most prominent results that can be drawn from the Arab Theater Festival are what the jury recommended, in terms of the need for playwrights to pay attention to the level of the craft because there are excellent ideas, but their implementation lacks professionalism.”.

Ghanem added, “Intellectual property rights and related rights must be paid attention to, and text rights must not be violated during performance,” explaining: “There are clear theatrical trends in the Arab countries that adhere to their issues, and this is an issue that must not be overlooked, and there are new theatrical generations proposing innovative solutions to the outstanding issues.” .

He continued: “One of the important results of the festival is the return of Iraq with brilliant strength to the Arab theatrical scene through the performances presented, carried on the arms, minds and hearts of its children,” stressing: “The Iraqis have proven a superior ability to give, while the Iraqi public has demonstrated a passion for theater and a culture aware of it.” ".
