Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, attended a parade at the Police Academy of the Ministry of Interior today, marking the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi police.
The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA," The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani proudly stood witness to units of service members representing diverse formations of the Ministry of Interior marching. The scene vividly portrayed the capabilities and skills possessed by the heroes of the police and internal security forces. The parade also featured various activities showcasing the capabilities and work of the ministry's formations."
“The parade was attended by several ministers, security leaders, heads of trade unions and federations, and representatives from diplomatic missions operating in Iraq,” the statement added.
