Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani officially opened the first model school building in the Sumer neighborhood of Nasiriyah on Monday morning, marking a milestone in the Iraqi-Chinese agreement project.
The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) “Prime Minister Al-Sudani congratulated the successful completion of a 12-classroom school building. He acknowledged the ongoing progress of the broader school construction initiative, comprising 106 buildings in Dhi Qar Governorate and contributing to the larger goal of constructing 1,000 schools across Iraq”.
“Prime Minister Al-Sudani commended the superior implementation quality, underscoring the significance of school projects as vital components in the government's commitment to bolster the education sector. These projects ensure the completion of necessary infrastructure with exemplary efficiency, adhering to prescribed timelines and schedules ”the statement added.
