Al-Sudani: The sacrifices of our army propel us forward, reinforcing our commitment to democracy

Today marks the 103rd anniversary of the founding of our sovereign symbol, the pride of our nation, and the shield of our homeland—the Iraqi army. Through its sacrifices, it has forged mighty epics, safeguarding Iraq's land from the evils of aggressors. 
 
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, said in a statement from his media office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Without these sacrifices, the stability, security, and peace we cherish in Iraq today would be unattainable."
 
These sacrifices propel us forward, reinforcing our commitment to democracy, and fuel our determination to construct a free, dignified state where all Iraqis live as equals, without distinctions or discrimination.
 
We commit to our heroes in the Iraqi army, pledging unwavering support, safeguarding your rights, and ensuring that we stand at the forefront among armies, both in terms of combat proficiency and high readiness.
 
Greetings to the heroic members of our army across all branches and services. May God's mercy and eternal peace be upon the martyrs of our armed forces. Wishing a happy new year to our army and our people.
