The National Security Service dismantles a drug trafficking network and arrests its members

    The National Security Service –NSS announced on Friday, the dismantling of drug trafficking network and the arrest of its members.

    NSS said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “NSS detachments, managed to dismantle a drug trafficking network, and seized in their possession more than (5) kg of marijuana”.

    "The defendants admitted that they communicated with a drug dealer from outside the country, where they received drugs from a transportation company hidden inside statues before they were overthrown by NSS detachments "the statement added.
